Artwork Requirements:

Sizes
You must submit your artwork at the correct print size. We require the following sizes;
A1 - 600mm x 846mm including 3mm bleeds (finished size: 594mm x 840mm)
A2 - 426mm x 600mm including 3mm bleeds (finished size: 420mm x 594mm)
A3 - 303mm x 426mm including 3mm bleeds (finished size: 297mm x 420mm)
A4 - 212mm x 299mm including 1mm bleeds (finished size: 210mm x 297mm)
A5 - 150mm x 212mm including 1mm bleeds (finished size: 148mm x 210mm)
A6 - 107mm x 150mm including 1mm bleeds (finished size: 105mm x 148mm)
DL - 100mm x 212mm including 1mm bleeds (finished size: 98mm x 210mm)
Business Cards - 87mm x 57mm including 1mm bleeds (finished size: 85mm x 55mm)

Crop, Trim and Bleed Marks
Don't put on crop, trim or bleed marks onto your document. 

Bleed
Please create an additional margin of 1mm to the final trimmed size on each side (3mm in the case of posters). Important lettering, graphics and information should be placed at least 3mm (5mm in the case of posters, 7mm for magazines) inside the trimmed size. Create your data format so that it fits our standard data format. Please do not use fold and/or cut marks. 

Accepted File Sizes
We prefer high quality PDFs but we will also accept the following formats; JPG, JPEG, TIFF, PDF, AI, PSD, EPS, Word and Publisher. Word and Publisher files are subject to a £10 conversion charge.

Resolution
We require a resolution of 300dpi. Posters need to be at least 240dpi and banners need to be at least 120dpi.

Brochures and Magazines
We require brochures and magazines must be sent as double page spreads. ie a 12 page brochure or magazine must be sent as 6 spreads of 12 and 1, 2 and 11, 10 and 3, 4 and 9, 8 and 5, 6 and 7.

Safety space
A 5mm safety space between the edge of the print and your text is required. For posters please ensure it is a 8mm space. This does not include background images.

Embedded Fonts
Fonts must be embedded into your design. We cannot be held responsible if your fonts aren't printed correctly if you have not embedded them. Don't assume that we have your font on our system if you have not embedded them.

Fold Lines
Please ensure that your fold lines are correct. We cannot be held responsible if your printing arrives with the incorrect fold lines if your artwork is incorrect. Please note that programmes such as Word and Publisher do not have the correct fold lines in their templates.

CMYK Colours
We print using CMYK. We do not print Hex and Pantone colours. Several programmes have RGB as the default setting. If you send your document in RGB colours we will convert it to CMYK. We cannot be held responsible for changes in colours as a result of the conversion.

Word and Publisher documents
Files sent in Word or Publisher documents may result in slight delays in the start of production unless you request the print file verification service below.

Print File Verification
We have a print file verification available for us to check that your artwork is correct. This is available on request and there is a charge for this service.

Total Area Coverage
The total combined value CMYK of the darkest area of your print must not exceed 300%.

Incorrect print format
Files sent with an incorrect print format (wrong bleed, resolution, page size, ) may result in a delay in the dispatch of your order. Please follow the print guidelines above to ensure a smooth transaction.

Claims
We are unable to offer refunds or reprinting as a result of not following print guidelines.
