Adam's charity fundraising challenge for a local hospice is nearing an end.
in the month of February Adam was aiming to take 500,000 for Willow Burn hospice in Lanchester.
The work of the charity is valued by Adam as his mother spent her final few days there following an aggressive battle with cancer in early 2013.
His initial £500 target was broken within days of starting the challenge however he is still short of his new £1,000 target.
Adam says; 'It has been hugely challenging as my plans have been hit with blisters and a trapped nerve on one foot which at one stage meant I had to limit my steps for one week.
'I have been encouraged by the support of generosity of friends and colleagues.
'A huge thank you especially to Stephen Paul my accountant at Valued who donated £200.'
With only four days of the challenge to go Adam has only 55,000 steps left.
